Congratulations to all Riverwood Rays participants this summer. It was an exciting season for all.

The Riverwood Rays 2021 season began with uncertainty and with much anticipation. Thanks to the hard work and determination of the coaching staff and TSA representatives, the swimmers were finally able to enjoy a season full of laps, ribbons, competition and fun! Due to COVID, a few virtual meets were held asking swimmers to step up in the face of adversity and overcome the difficult task of racing swimmers miles away using only their competitive drive to visualize their opponents pushing them through the water to victory.

The Rays faced 7 teams this year, trying to win races and meets that did not go towards points for their season, but the pride of knowing they did their best and swam to their full potential to defeat the teams before them. Out of the 7 meets, 5 were won with two close losses thanks to the Riverwood Rasy punching above their weight class. The teams that walked away with victory were twice the size of the Rays team, and one swimming two divisions higher than the Rays this year.

We look forward to seeing the Rays compete again next year for the TSA trophy and the chance to take their rightful spot in the division above. Moving up the ladder, improving with each race and growing friendships and memories that will last forever! Thanks to all of the people who made this season possible and last but not least the swimmers! You did an amazing job and we can not wait to improve upon this season next year!
